Lewis King

Lewis is a diving instructor, all-around adventure enthusiast, and lover of the outdoors from the Isle of Wight in the UK. Lewis graduated from the University of Chichester with a degree in Outdoor Adventure Education in 2020. During his time at university, he led a variety of youth adventure programs, completed his PADI Divemaster course in Tenerife, and lived 200km above the arctic circle in northern Finland for 4 months, working as a dogsledding guide throughout the polar night in -40°C. After graduating, Lewis became a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and worked at a youth charity. He remains an outspoken advocate for mental health. In 2022, Lewis got on a one-way flight to Utila, Honduras, where he completed his PADI Instructor Development Course and fell in love with sharing his passion for the ocean with new divers. When not diving, Lewis enjoys hiking, camping, and climbing, especially in challenging conditions. He is excited to be part of Sail Caribbean, to continue sharing his passion for adventure education while advocating for young people’s growth and development.
