Greetings Sail Caribbean families! Today was an action-packed day for our campers, as we set sail to Savannah for our much-anticipated Challenge Day! The weather was perfect, with clear skies and a gentle breeze, setting the ideal scene for our adventure. We kicked off the day with a hearty breakfast prepared by our team, fueling up for the excitement ahead!
Our Skipper of the Day, Addy, took charge of the helm with confidence, guiding us smoothly through the sparkling waters. Aiden, our Navigator of the Day, plotted our course with precision, ensuring we stayed on track for our destination. Paisley, serving as Mate of the Day, provided invaluable assistance on deck, keeping everything running seamlessly.
As we sailed towards Savannah, our campers engaged in a variety of activities. Some dove into the crystal-clear waters for a thrilling scuba diving session, marveling at the vibrant marine life below. Others honed their sailing skills, working together to master the art of anchoring in a new location!
The highlight of the day was our chili cook-off competition, where John showcased his culinary talents. His delicious chili was a hit, adding a flavorful touch to our evening meal! The camaraderie and teamwork displayed by all the campers made today truly memorable.
As the day came to an end, we gathered for our boat meeting to reflect on our experiences. We shared laughs, learned more about communicating effectively, and celebrated our achievements.
