Today we woke up at Sopers on the dock. Despite it being quite hot, the group was excited for a boat swap! Everyone quickly gathered their dive stuff and personal belongings and walked to their new boats for the day. On the newly swapped boats, we ate breakfast. Many people made oatmeal with honey. It was so good!

Before leaving, we watered up and took the trash off the boat. We did a quick de-docking lesson and headed out. During the sail, we ate watermelon, made pizza bagels, and listened to every genre of music! The boat got to know one another, playing two truths and a lie and screaming to Noah Khan songs. The group was excited to arrive at Norman and was excited about our afternoon activities.

Some students went diving and the rest went on a hike. After the hike, everyone went swimming and attempted flips off the boat. We then showered and started dinner prep. Everyone, was beyond excited to make fried rice for dinner. After eating our delicious meal we went to shore for the soda social! At the soda social, we busted out our dance moves and enjoyed sodas and virgin drinks. We then headed back to the boat to do a quick boat meet where we discussed our days and ate Oreos. We then powered down and went to bed 🙂

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
