Follow Our Journey! Bravo, Charlie, Foxtrot, & Sierra 2- Day 3

It is the official day one out on the water for Mile High! We started our day off with a morning snorkel, where we saw some cuddle fish, lionfish, and large parrot fish! It was the perfect way to start the day before a breakfast of bacon and eggs. We then did a lesson on dropping a mooring ball and were off!!

The sail raise went very smoothly even with large rolling waves. Vibes were high and as our assigned DJ for the day Jackie kept the tunes locked in. It was a longer sail than yesterday, so everyone was excited to learn a little bit more about raising and lowering the sail along the way!

It wasn’t long before we found ourselves at Cooper where dive training began! All divers splashed around today including our open water, advanced, fun, and rescue divers. We had some Colgate action with Val and T-Rex ;), a fun nickname we have for Tiernan our other mate on Mile Hi!

Everyone ended their day with a fun, rainy shower party before getting ready for a dinner of chicken enchiladas made by Bobby and Ale! I can smell them ready right now from my spot on the couch so I have to go! Much love from Mike Hi!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
