Today was a truly quintessential Sail Caribbean day! We woke up in the beautiful encourage of Long Bay to a wonderful sunrise. Then our incredible children cooked a breakfast of eggs, bagels, and avocados. We then picked up our anchor and sailed a beautiful close-reach course to the Bitter End Yacht Club, which is on the south of Virgin Gorda. All kids truly enjoyed the sail!

They pulled up the sails so rapidly, and we were incredibly proud of the crew. Our Stella was a fantastic captain today, guiding us onto the docks with ease! She truly is a born sailor! Then, it was time to go ashore and enjoy the shops provided by the Bitter End Yacht Club.

We enjoyed frozen virgin mango and strawberry daiquiris on the beach. The kids called home today during phone time for 30 minutes and then we returned to our home for refreshing boat showers, and a delicious snack of nachos and cheesy sauce home cooked.

One of our crew members, Livia, made a traditional dish from her culture for dinner- Latkas! After this, we blasted the music and cleaned our boat wonderfully then we decided to have a rave party until 10 PM when we settled down for some stargazing at bedtime. What a wonderful day here in the BVI!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
