Follow Our Journey! Bravo, Charlie, Foxtrot, & Sierra 2- Day 10
Written by Tara L., captain on Apres Sail
Today we woke up at Trellis at 6:45 am! We quickly gathered our belongings and swapped boats for the day. On the new boats, we ate breakfast and made new friends! Divers left at 8:15 am and the rest of the group snorkeled and attempted backflips off the side of the boat!
Once the divers came back we prepared lunch. Everyone enjoyed the chicken Caesar wraps, a boat favorite. The divers had the opportunity to dive on one of the BVI’s most unique dive sites ‘Sharplaneo’, where 3 airplane wrecks have been modified to resemble huge metal sharks (a bull shark, a nurse shark, and a hammerhead shark).
We then cleaned the boat and did pre-departure checks to head to Savannah. During the sail, we did a navigation lesson using the charts of the BVI. We also did a quick anchoring review before anchoring at Savannah. When coming into the bay the group was in awe of how vibrant and clear the water was!
We then swapped back to our boats and went to Mile High to dissect squid! Afterwards, we had a karaoke shower party where we screamed Y2K bangers. For dinner we enjoyed burritos! The boat then did a quick clean before heading to Tonga to celebrate Charlotte’s birthday! After eating cake and dancing, we returned home did a quick boat meeting and got ready for Christman in July tomorrow!!
