Today was another beautiful day at Sail Caribbean. We started off the day with a delicious breakfast buffet. Then, open water and fun divers were shuttled to the dive boat. Some open-water divers finished their training dives and came back certified!

Everyone else had a great morning at Little Harbor. We had water sports, paddle boarding, cake baking, and lots of swimmy fun time! Once divers were back we made some yummy Mac and cheese and an assortment of fruit for lunch.

Then, campers completed pre-departure checks along with engine checks so we could up anchor for the long sail to Jost Van Dyke. It was a nice downwind sail with some jibing practice!

Once we arrived at Little Harbor on Jost Van Dyke, it was time for the boat clean. The boat was squeaky clean and then it was the camper’s turn to get clean with ocean showers before shore time.

All boats shuttled to shore for a buffet-style dinner and DJ dance party. It was a fantastic night of good food music, dancing, and good memories. After all that, it was time for back-to-boats, a quick boat meeting with some team-building activities in preparation for challenge day. Then the Sail Caribbean fleet fell asleep in preparation for another great day tomorrow!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
