Day 4 began with a delightful breakfast buffet, featuring hearty options to kickstart our day. We woke up moored again at the stunning Cooper Island!

Our day was packed with exciting activities, starting with a range of water sports that got everyone’s adrenaline pumping. From wakeboarding to tubing, the students showcased their skills and enthusiasm. Meanwhile, our divers continued their underwater training, exploring the vibrant marine life and honing their diving techniques.

For those participating in Colgating, the experience was equally thrilling as they mastered the art of sailing the smaller boats, learning valuable skills, and enjoying the open sea. After a morning full of action, we had some much-needed hang-out and chill time. Students took the opportunity to swim, relax on the beach, and simply enjoy each other’s company in the beautiful surroundings of Cooper Island.

As the day drew to a close, we gathered for a delicious dinner, sharing stories and laughter as we savored the meal. Boat showers followed, offering a refreshing end to the day.

The next morning began with a breakfast of eggs and sausage, providing the perfect fuel for a busy day ahead. After enjoying our meal, we shuttled the divers to continue their dive training. The highlight of the day was their first open-water dive—a thrilling milestone that marked a significant step in their underwater adventures! Those who weren’t diving, anchored at Salt Island, where Captain Kate led a super fun and scenic hike!

Following the dive, we set sail towards Village Cay Marina, navigating the waters with anticipation for the evening ahead. Upon arrival, we docked for the night and prepared for a delicious dinner.

After dinner, we joined the other boats for a lively soda social. The atmosphere was electric with excitement as students mingled, forming new friendships and strengthening existing bonds. Games, music, and spirited conversation filled the air, making for an unforgettable evening.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
