Good morning Sail Caribbean! We started our day today with a delicious breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, cereal, and fruit. Once we were all fueled up and energized for the day, we got prepared for our big sail from White Bay to Cooper!

Our crew did a fantastic job raising and lowering sails and unfurling the jib. Our skipper of the day, Grey, worked with our navigator of the day, Natalie, to safely bring us to our destination. We did a ‘challenge navigation,’ which means our crew got us from Point A to Point B all by themselves, with no staff involvement! We are so proud of their ability to use the maps and GPS on the boat!

Once we arrived at Cooper, we made a delicious lunch of hot dogs and pasta, everyone’s favorite, to fuel up for our big afternoon of diving and watersports!

Some of our crew headed to shore to attend an introductory diving session, and the rest of us got a chance to swim in the crystal-clear water of Cooper Island Beach Club. Daniela went tubing and managed to stay on the whole time! Judd and Lila went Colgating for the first time, and they had a blast learning the ropes of a small boat sailing with our fabulous instructors.

Once everyone returned from their afternoon adventures, Daniela and Alana prepped us a delicious dinner of chicken, veggies, pasta, and rice! Everyone agreed it was the best dinner so far. After dinner, the whole group got together and we played Mafia for hours! It was a wonderful day 3 with this crew and everyone is having a blast! We can’t wait to see what tomorrow and the rest of the program has in store.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
