The fleet woke up together after a big group sleepover in the scrub marina ballroom, their only land sleep of the program! After a big breakfast buffet, they enjoyed indoor activities such as bracelet making while listening to music on the party box before having a delicious tomato and veggie pasta lunch. After this, they all had group movie time watching Moana which also became a karaoke session during ‘You’re Welcome’.

Next, the fleet began preparing the boats so they were once again ready to be lived on for the remainder of the program. Shortly after this, they all enjoyed another land shower at Scrub, which is always a favorite among campers. For dinner it was the world-famous Sail Caribbean Chill Cook Off, feeling inspired by the movie earlier in the day LGB decided to make their theme Moana and of course, included their favorite song. Finally, to wrap up the day we cleaned up the boat and had our evening boat meeting where we spoke about the highlights of our time at scrub.

We woke up bright and early at 7 am today to leave Scrub!!! The sea and the sky were looking so inviting after our 3-day pit stop in Scrub. Everyone made good use of the last land bathrooms till the end of the program and we de-stormed our boats ready for the sail to Cooper!!!. The skipper of the day with their captains by their side de docked the boats and we were away. We quickly raised the main and unfurled the jib buzzing to feel the wind in our hair again.

After all the boats picked up their mooring balls for the first time in Cooper the divers got ready to go diving!! Underwater today the divers saw a shark at the Rhone (one of the world’s best wreck dive sites). While the divers were away everyone else went knee-boarding, tubing, and wakeboarding. This time also entailed Mile Hi, Tonga, and Betty’s Dream stern rafting their boats to create a fun star joint swim space in the middle. When the divers got back we started a cannonball competition and some divers went tubing.

Then we started showers and dinner prep for the second to last dinner on board. Little did they know that there was a Surprise Fridge inspection coming their way with major prizes coming for the winners. After the Surprise Fridge Inspection, the boats watched the glorious sun setting down on Tortola excited for a new destination to be unlocked tomorrow.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
