Delta Day 1: Meet the staff

Today the staff have been preparing for our Delta program and getting their boats ready. They are anxiously waiting for the arrival of our 15 students and looking  forward to exploring the BVI and Leeward Islands.

On board Rioja the captain is Jarad Plato and he is joined by Ashley Carroll as his mate.

Our Sailing Director Emma Deegan steps into the role of Program Director for the Delta program and is extremely excited to return to the Leeward Islands.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
