Today campers had a 7:00 wake up at the beautiful Bitter End Yacht Club and had a breakfast buffet of cereal and bagels. After pre departure checks were completed, the skippers  and their crews all had very successful de- docking. Then the sails were raised for a nice down wind sail to Great Harbor. During the sail, campers read, chatted and listened to good music until sails needed to be lowered.

At Great Harbor, the boats participated in dinghy dares! There was a series of fun competitions such as dressing counselors up and making tasty meals out of obscure ingredients for the program director to judge. After dares, campers snorkeled, did water sports and snorkeled before chili cook off night! Campers get to cook amazing chili and come up with fun themes to decorate the boat to be judged on their performance and chili taste! After feeling accomplished in what they’ve created and eating their delicious chili, campers relaxed on their boats discussing all the memories they’ve made so far!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
