Today, Chris was our captain and Elinor was our navigator and mate. Our day began when Daniel went for his very first Open Water dive, along with Kirk and Chris who were fun diving, and Noah who had his second Discover Scuba Dive session. The non-divers, Valeria, Sophie, Steve and Bryce went snorkeling at Angel Fish Reef and Rainbow Canyon. Meanwhile, Elinor and Josie went sailing on Opal Bella, Sail Caribbean’s 27 foot keel boat, to continue their Basic Keel boat certification.

Elinor and Josie sailed Opal Bella to Nanny Cay with Renée while the dive boat dropped the rest of the crew off. We then began the deep clean of our boat which was followed by time on shore to eat a lot of much deserved ice cream and relax on the beach. Later, we went to Captain Mulligan’s for dinner where we also watched Night of the Museum on the giant outdoor projector! Everyone was enjoying each other’s company so much, and then we had to eventually returned to the boats to power down from such a fun day.

Today our crew did a great job of cleaning but we need to improve our teamwork. Our miracle moment was the luxurious land showers at Nanny Cay!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
