Alpha 1 and Tango 1: Arrivals Day

Day 1

The morning of student arrivals was filled with preparations, planning and provisioning. Staff members headed over to St. Thomas around 8 am and greeted the majority of our students at the airport. The staff were excited to be the first ones to get to know the students!

After a ferry ride from St. Thomas, students were welcomed by the rest of the staff and brought to their new home for the next couple of weeks. There was laughter and chatter in the air at Hodges Creek Marina as students got to know one another and shared in the excitement for the next days to come. Although it is always a long day of travel to get here, it turned out to be a beautiful BVI evening filled with a delicious dinner and a phone call home.
