Today, we woke up at Dead Man’s Bay to an amazing sunrise! After some morning announcements, Alden and Sarah made us scrambled egg sandwiches for breakfast. Once a quick morning squall moved through, Sarah, Alice, Luella, Sebastian, Roman, and Alden went on the Colgates to complete their ASA 101 practical exam! Everyone passed with flying colors; amazing work out there!

Scarlett, our skipper of the day, and Stark, the mate of the day, guided us as we anchored and headed to Little Harbor for a wonderful day of swimmy fun time, snorkeling, and water sports! Little Harbor was special for Mega Fleet because it was our first med-anchoring of the program. Because we had to secure a stern line to shore, everyone was paying close attention to Scarlett and Stark’s orders to guide us to a smooth maneuver.

All the boys on our boat went diving during the PM dive after a lunch of chili leftovers! Atticus and Pau went diving at the Rhône, Fearless, and Willy-T wrecks to complete their PADI wreck diving specialties and were super excited about everything they saw. We had a boat nap time before dinner because of all of our fun afternoon activities. All our divers went for a night dive after dinner and returned to a clean boat and a dance party!! Many Taylor Swift and R&B songs were played and we had such a fun, chill night. What a great day on Mile Hi!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
