Follow Our Journey! Early Alpha, Foxtrot, Charlie, Sierra, & Tango- Day 13

Today was an action-packed and exhilarating day! We kicked things off at 7:00 AM with a hearty breakfast to fuel up for the adventures ahead. The crew swiftly completed their PDCs, and by 8:30, we had successfully de-docked from Scrub Island, setting sail for Long Bay to participate in the much-anticipated Sail Caribbean Olympics!
The games were a blast! We had a whirlwind of fun with events like Dizzy Fender, Synchronized Swimming, Tug-of-War, and Bury Your Staff Member. Each boat showcased their unique flair with personally designed flags, themes, and spirited chants. The friendly rivalry between teams added an extra layer of excitement as we all anchored at Long Bay and enjoyed some time at the beach.
After the Olympics, we up-anchored and made our way to Hodges for our final motor journey—a bittersweet moment for everyone. At Hodges, the crew focused on completing crew tests, ASA tests, and Boson Tests. But the fun didn’t stop there! Each boat prepared and performed a skit for the entire fleet, filling the air with laughter and creativity.
Dinner was a mouthwatering feast of ribs and mac-n-cheese, providing the perfect comfort food to round off our busy day. As the evening set in, students took the time to write airplane letters and exchange heartfelt goodbyes with their new friends.
It was a day filled with camaraderie, competition, and a tinge of nostalgia as we wrapped up our incredible journey. Everyone will surely cherish the memories made today. What an unforgettable day!!
