The Sierra and Foxtrot fleets woke up early this morning to finish up preparations for leaving docks. After some breakfast, the students got to meet the dive staff they would be working with and began learning more about the 43 and 45 foot catamarans they would be living on. Our skippers of the day took the helm for the first de-docking of program and maneuvered their vessels off the dock and out of the channel towards Great Harbour, Peter Island.
After enjoying some sandwiches and sailing lessons underway, the students picked up a mooring ball at Great Harbour and jumped in for their first swim in the Caribbean sea. The afternoon was full of snorkeling, water sports, and settling into a new home. The students on board Spyglass even saw their first turtle of program!
After a happy and full day, everyone was ready to hit the hay early and rest up for the day ahead.
